What does SigmaBit do?
SigmaBit is a software engineering company that builds enterprise software at scale. Our work spans custom software development, business process AI automation (AI agents, workflow integration, internal RAG systems and MCP servers), e-commerce, DevOps, MLOps and IT consulting, as well as web and mobile apps (native iOS and Android, plus cross-platform React Native). SigmaBit has offices in Zenica and Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and hires remote-first for developers based in Europe. We work as multiple cross-functional teams of experienced people. Our largest market is the US, and we also work with companies across DACH, the Nordics, and the UK & Ireland.

Does SigmaBit build mobile apps?
Yes. SigmaBit builds mobile apps both ways: fully native iOS in Swift and Android in Kotlin when a product needs maximum platform performance and access to native APIs, and cross-platform React Native when a single shared codebase and faster delivery across iOS and Android matter more. We help you choose the right approach for each product and ship it end to end, from design through app-store release and ongoing support.
Does SigmaBit build AI and machine learning solutions?
Yes. SigmaBit builds business process AI automation: AI agents that use your tools, workflow integration into the systems you already run, internal RAG systems over your own documents and data, and MCP servers that make a platform AI-addressable. We also build applied machine learning where a model beats a rule, including predictive analytics, natural language processing and computer vision, and run all of it in production with full MLOps: scalable inference, evaluation, monitoring, versioning and governance.
Does SigmaBit build e-commerce?
Yes. SigmaBit builds e-commerce into products, including Shopify storefronts (Shopify and Shopify Plus, from themes to headless builds with custom front ends), payments and checkout, catalog and inventory, media, and marketing and retention automation. We also build custom Shopify apps and integrations, and migrate stores to Shopify from other platforms.
Does SigmaBit migrate stores to Shopify?
Yes. SigmaBit migrates stores to Shopify from Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WordPress/WooCommerce, Magento and Adobe Commerce, and custom or legacy platforms such as BigCommerce and PrestaShop. A migration covers the catalog, customers, order history, content and integrations, with 301 redirects for every URL and a planned cutover window so SEO rankings, revenue and reporting carry across.
Will my store lose SEO rankings when migrating to Shopify?
A well-planned migration should not cost you rankings. SigmaBit maps every existing URL to its new Shopify equivalent with 301 redirects, carries over titles, meta descriptions and structured data, and verifies the new store in Search Console after a planned cutover, so search engines transfer the authority of your existing pages to the new ones.
Can SigmaBit integrate AI into an existing product?
Yes. SigmaBit adds AI to existing products as well as building new ones. We integrate large language models from OpenAI, Anthropic and open-source into your current stack, connect them to the systems where the work already happens (CRM, ERP, ticketing, telephony, storefront or internal admin) through API and event-driven integration, add retrieval over your own data where answers must be grounded, and run it in production with full MLOps: scalable inference, monitoring, versioning and governance.
Can SigmaBit automate business processes with AI?
Yes. Business process AI automation is a core part of what SigmaBit does. We take a process that costs a team hours, such as intake, triage, quoting, reconciliation, document handling or reporting, automate the steps that follow rules, and let a model handle the judgement in between. The work includes integrating with the systems the process already runs on, defining human-in-the-loop approval where a wrong answer would be expensive, and measuring the result against the process it replaces.
Does SigmaBit build AI agents?
Yes. SigmaBit builds AI agents that use tools rather than chatbots that guess. We define the tool surface an agent can call, the permissions and scope of each tool, retry and stop conditions, and the point at which the agent hands off to a person. Agents are wired into real systems through APIs and events, with tracing on every tool call, evaluation sets to catch regressions, and cost and latency budgets enforced in production.
Does SigmaBit build internal RAG systems?
Yes. SigmaBit builds internal RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) systems over a company's own documents, tickets, code and databases. That covers chunking and embeddings, vector search with metadata filters, permission-aware retrieval so people only see what they are allowed to, answers that cite their sources, and evaluation to measure retrieval quality rather than assume it. These systems run as internal knowledge assistants or as retrieval behind a product feature.
Does SigmaBit build MCP servers?
Yes. SigmaBit builds Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose a platform to AI assistants and agents as typed tools, with authentication, scoping, rate limits and streaming responses, read-only by default and scoped writes where they are warranted. We built Picklebot, an MCP server in front of the Pickleball.com platform API, using the same pattern we apply to internal systems.
What is Picklebot?
Picklebot is an AI concierge for the Pickleball.com ecosystem, built by SigmaBit as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in front of the platform API. It registers six read-only tools, covering tournaments, players, clubs, team leagues, ladder leagues and a support FAQ. A question asked in plain English is routed to the right tool, its parameters are extracted from the sentence, live data is queried, and the answer streams back in natural language; a structured mode returns the same result as JSON so product surfaces can render it directly. Picklebot is in development and being integrated into the Pickleball.com experience.

What is SigmaBit's development process?

Product managers and scrum masters keep delivery aligned with business goals, and we release iteratively so you see working software early and often.
Does SigmaBit provide ongoing support and maintenance?
Yes. SigmaBit runs a dedicated support engineering team providing 24/7 coverage, backed by DevOps and MLOps to keep platforms healthy in production, monitoring, incident response, updates and SLAs. We stay with products after launch, not just through the initial build.
How does SigmaBit work with clients in the US and other time zones?
SigmaBit's largest market is the US, and our teams are based in Europe with several hours of daily overlap with US business hours and full overlap with European clients. We work in English, collaborate asynchronously where it helps, and adapt meeting times to keep delivery closely aligned with each client's schedule.
How does SigmaBit handle GDPR and data residency?
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a third country under the GDPR, so SigmaBit works under contractual safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and can accommodate EU/EEA data-residency requirements for projects that need it. How does SigmaBit handle IP ownership and confidentiality?
SigmaBit works under non-disclosure agreements and clear contractual terms, and clients own the intellectual property we develop for them. Combined with our GDPR safeguards and Standard Contractual Clauses, that keeps ownership, confidentiality and data protection clear throughout an engagement.
What technologies does SigmaBit use?
SigmaBit builds backends in Golang and C++, frontends in Next.js, TypeScript React and Angular, and mobile in Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android) and React Native (cross-platform). For AI we use models from OpenAI, Anthropic and open-source, tool calling and agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and vector search for retrieval-augmented generation. We use Kubernetes and Terraform for DevOps, AWS and Azure for cloud, PostgreSQL and MySQL for databases, Redis and RabbitMQ for caching and messaging, and dedicated MLOps infrastructure for AI workloads.
What is Roboticks?
Roboticks is an audit-grade Test CI platform for ROS2 robotics that SigmaBit helped build. It runs automated tests on every pull request, maps safety requirements to tests for traceability, and produces hash-chained, offline-verifiable evidence packs for regulatory audits, with hosted GPU simulation using Gazebo Harmonic and Webots.
